Living on the "other side of the river" in Albuquerque, my friend and I ventured to "the other side." We found High Point Grill via Siri, and we truly wanted a local experience. Confession: The best pizza we have ever eaten ... thin crust with a pillow of crust on the outside. Served hot. Queso and chips were our starter. X Hot Hatch Green Chili was on the side. I'm originally from Michigan, so I'm leaning toward the spicy after 5 years. We did, however, have the chili on the side. In the end, we mixed it all in the queso. Delightful! Our young, sweet waitress was attentive and helpful. Plus, the Chardonnay was my favorite! Even though this place is a good 40 minutes from our homes in Eldorado Heights, we will be back again with more friends. Thank you for such delicious food and wonderful service!

When I say WOW, I mean WOOOOOWWW! I went with high expectations and I was absolutely not disappointed! We got there and parking is a bit cramped due to the location, but we were still able to find an open spot. Going inside it is much larger than it looks from the outside. We were sat quickly. And our waitress came over to check on us and take our orders right away. She was very friendly and quick to come when she saw we were ready, but not overly attentive to make us feel rushed. We ordered wings to share, which were the best wings I've had! They were crisp, but not greasy. They were not overly seasoned but a good balance. They were a great size. And man they were delicious! Had also heard amazing things about their burgers. We also ordered a sunrise burger to share and it also was delicious. The meat was fresh and quality tasting. The patty was thick and well seasoned. The bun was toasted perfectly. Best burger! Craving another as I type this! Can't wait to return to try a different flavor of wings as well!

We don't venture to the west side much, but I may have to start going more. This place was reallllly good. Our table got the Steak Pizza, the Filet Cheesesteak, the campfire burger, green chilli cheese fries, and Beer. There wasn't one bite I took that wasn't great! Everything was cooked to perfection. The Filet cheesesteak was packed with flavor! The green chilli cheese fries were exceptional, and the Pizza blew our minds. Never thought to get steak on pizza but it's the move here! Beers good to......service was great. A bit pricey for what it is, but I'm okay paying a bit extra for great food and service! Can't wait to come back for more!

Fantastic grilled burgers, great staff, very helpful and kind, this is a great spot for family and friends to hang out and enjoy each other's company. Small menus done right! This place has what everyone wants, drinks, pizza, tacos and burgers, along with some other great options! We were impressed with the quality of the food, I would personally consider the burgers gourmet, grilled perfection!

In the pouring rain - we would go again. Traveling from Houston to Albuquerque to visit my son and his girlfriend. We were looking for a place to eat. I will say it took us a while to find this location because of the way it's tucked in. It was absolutely pouring rain and the parking is not that easy.. I would do it again pouring rain and all! My burger was absolutely the best I've had in two decades ! Absolutely cooked to perfection! My son had the wings and was absolutely thrilled with his choice ! His girlfriend had the macaroni and cheese with beef on top .... She said it was over the top! If you haven't been, I suggest you go! They serve white claw into flavors .... In cold glasses The service was great! I'm hoping to be back in October and I will be getting another hamburger.

This is a Grill. Expect a Grill: pizza, sandwiches, salads, and some kiddo food. The staff was kind, they have crayons for kiddos to use on the table, and the cost wasn't too expensive ($90 for an appetizer, 2 meals, 2 adult beverages, 1 dessert). The hard part was exiting & parking-- it's fairly difficult depending on what way you're driving. The tacos & green chile cheese fries were good. 9/10 recommend

I'm writing this review after a few visits. We had heard so many good things about High Point, my boyfriend and I had to try it our for ourselves. We'd actually heard that the pizza is what we need to try. Believe it our not, the first two visits, they weren't making pizza! Like at all. We were very disappointed. We had pizza on our minds. We settled for a burger and some mac n cheese. The burger, was outta control! Huge burger. So if you are ordering a burger, you best be hungry. He didn't finish it so we took the other half home. Their Mac n Cheese though. It's good. A nice healthy adult serving. Meaning, twice as much as you were served as a kid, always hoping your parents would give you more. LOL. I had leftovers too. When did make it back, and they WERE making pizza. We got a NM classic combo, pepperoni and green chile. That day, my boyfriend got the Chicken Fajita Mac. The pizza was good, don't get me wrong but I think the chicken fajita mac was definitely the better dish. I had slice of the pie and then started scarfing his bowl! hahaha. I would boast more on their mac and cheese then their pizza. Their servings are big which I think helps to offset the price of most dishes. Overall I'm a fan. I'm craving that chicken fajita mac n cheese as we speak.

I've read ALLLLLLL the reviews for this joint and am pleased to report we hit it on a very, very good day. This isn't haute cuisine, but it is comfort/casual food at its best. Reviewing the menu, they offer burgers and sandwiches, pizzas, a whole section on Mac and Cheese and apps (we had chips/salsa and my husband had the nachos for lunch). I ventured into the pizza arena and thoroughly enjoyed the barbecue pizza. In fact, I might even say it's been my favorite pizza in Albuquerque. The crust is thin enough to let the toppings be the star, but it's firm enough not to buckle under the weight of all the goodness on top. Everything was delicious, served piping hot and fresh. The chips are a lot like the Chili's chips, thin and salty, and the salsa had a good helping of garlic and not tooooo much heat. Alternatively, both the nachos and the pizza packed some serious heat, the pizza from sliced fresh jalapeños and the nachos from green chile in the queso and jalapeños on top. My eyes were watering before too long, in the best possible way. My husband loved his nachos (although he said he'd add beans as well as the chicken he ordered next time) and as I already said, I loved the pizza. We even contemplated dessert, but since we already had take-home we decided against it. There was an apple pie/cobbler option that looked pretty good! I'm not sure why people were complaining about pricing. The pizza was $14 and it was easily enough for 2, and the nachos were less than that and also easily enough for 2. Our entire table with sodas (they have Coke Zero!) and the appetizer was $40. I consider that middle of the pack pricing. Service was where this visit shone. From the "welcome friends" mere seconds after we walked in to the multiple soda refills to the guidance on what to order, everyone here was friendly and attentive and we loved the entire visit. We will definitely come back... great experience start to finish.
